Opening Tip
• St. Mary's hits the road for a pair of non-conference games against conference foes, playing at Texas-Permian Basin on Saturday and Angelo State on Monday afternoons.
• The Rattlers will take on their second nationally-ranked opponent of the season in Angelo State on Monday. The Rams are currently ranked 18th in the coaches poll and 24th in the D2SIDA poll. In the season opener, the Rattlers defeated then-#5 Colorado School of Mines, 82-59.
• The teams will meet again in three weeks for the opening of Lone Star Conference action as the Falcons come to Bill Greehey Arena on the last day of 2021, while the Rams will be in town on Jan. 2.
• Senior G Kobe Magee needs 16 points to score 500 in his time with the Rattlers. He stands at 716 throughout his collegiate career. Magee leads the team with 17.0 points per game this season.
