SAN ANTONIO – Megan Copeland was honored on Tuesday morning by being selected to the D2CCA South Central All-Region Team after her standout play in 2021. Copeland, who has proven herself to be one of the best defenders in the Lone Star Conference, added to her accolades with the All-Region selection after scoring six goals, tallying four assists, and ending the 2021 campaign with 16 total points.
Copeland provided stability and aggressive defense on the back line, while also showing her offensive firepower down the stretch run of the season. She also led the Rattlers to their first winning record since 2015 and a conference tournament berth.
