Richardson, TX – After compiling a 9-7-2 record and their first winning campaign since 2015, five different Rattlers were tabbed as All-Conference selections by the Lone Star Conference.
Upperclassmen Juni Ejere and Megan Copeland were selected to the First Team All-Conference after tremendous seasons in the Gold and Blue. Ejere led the Rattlers in total scoring with eight goals and two assists. Ejere tallied 18 points for the Rattlers on 40 shots in 2021. Copeland was recognized as one of the best defenders in the conference this season, but also flashed her offensive ability by racking up six goals of her own.
Rebecca Difronzo was recognized for her tremendous freshman campaign by being named to the Second Team All-Conference, as well as to the All-Freshman Team. Difronzo posted a record of 8-6-2 in her 18 games played. Difronzo had a save percentage of 84.2% and set to all-time school record for saves in a single match with 19 against West Texas A&M in the quarter-final round of the LSC Tournament.
Alexis Lawrence and Miranda Narvaez were also honored by the league, receiving Third Team All-Conference selections. Lawrence scored four goals with two assists, while Narvaez scored twice and added five helpers.
