THE RECAP
The St. Mary's Rattlers fought to a 1-1 draw against Eastern New Mexico on Saturday night. Despite the Rattlers possessing the ball for the majority of the game, StMU was unable to ever take the lead and now sit at 5-4-1 on the season.
The Greyhounds started the scoring in the 54th minute when Sierra Villanueva found the back of the net. The Rattlers fought back, lobbing 21 total shots at the net, but were unable to crease the score sheet until the waning moments of regulation.
With just minutes left on the board, Love' Tovar headed her first goal of the season into the twine to give the Rattlers the equalizer. Both teams would then slug it out over 20 minutes of overtime, but neither squad found the golden goal.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
