TAKING THE PITCH
St. Mary's will play at home once more this week facing the Eastern New Mexico's Greyhounds on Saturday at 7 p.m. These two teams have not competed against each other since 2019 and are both coming off of recent losses.
Your Rattlers have had time to rest and prepare after not playing this Wednesday. After another tough loss against Midwestern State last week, StMU has been working hard to find the back of the net again and tally another win in the Lone Star Conference.
Similarly, the Greyhounds suffered a tough loss against St. Edward's University at ENMU's homecoming game. They fell by a 3-1 margin. The Greyhounds have an impressively long 493 mile drive to reach St. Mary's.
RATTLER STORYLINES
-This will be the eighth time that St. Mary's faces ENMU.
-In the last two years, Coach Kevin Driggs has seen overtime as one of the Rattler's weaknesses, but the team is ready to execute a win before the timer is up.
-Eliza Merrion and Juni Ejere are two players who the Rattlers will look to ignite the offense once again.
SCOUTING EASTERN NEW MEXICO
-Greyhound sophomore, Samantha Vazquez acquired her first collegiate goal last game.
-ENMU is still seeking their first LSC win.
-The last time the Greyhounds triumphed over the Rattlers was in 2007.

The Rattlers will remain at home this Wednesday to face Texas A&M International. The contest will kick off at 6 p.m.
