TAKING THE PITCH
The Rattlers continue to put their playoff hopes on the line as they travel to take on Texas A&M Commerce on Wednesday afternoon. The game is set to commence at 3 p.m.
The Rattlers are fresh off an impressive shutout over UTPB on Saturday afternoon. From the beginning the Rattlers were playing at a fast pace, scoring the first goal within the seven minutes of the opening touch. A trio of goals and a stifling defense gave the Rattlers their seventh win of the season and keeps them firmly in the LSC postseason picture.
Commerce had struggled to get a win in the last couple of matches but is now coming off a terrific victory. The Lions beat St. Edward's and kept their own postseason aspirations alive. After struggling to break through in the first half, the Lions scored twice to down a Hilltoppers' squad that was once at the top of the conference standings.
