Men's Tennis Falls to Southeastern Oklahoma in Weather Shortened Match

Box Score WACO, Texas – The St. Mary's University Men's Tennis team lost their second match of the weekend as they fell to No. 22 Southeastern Oklahoma State on Sunday at the Waco Regional Tennis Center.

The final score was 4-1 as the match was played to clinch due to weather in the area.

"The guys improved in singles today after a slow start in doubles," said Director of Tennis Bill Macom. "We have a good idea of what we need to focus on this week to prep us for Lone Stat Conference play."

The Rattlers lost two of the three doubles matches as Leon Hein and Saisaurav Konakanchi defeated their SEOU opponent, 6-0 for the lone doubles victory.

Brendan Brown was the lone singles winner for St. Mary's as he won in the No. 6 spot, 6-2, 6-4.

St. Mary's will have two weeks off before they begin conference action. The Rattlers will host St. Edward's on March 7.
