RICHARDSON, Texas – St. Mary's sophomore
Caleb Jordan earned Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
Jordan set a new career-high with 27 points against Midwestern State on Saturday, just two days after netting 24 against Cameron to lead St. Mary's to a 2-0 week in Lone Star Conference action.
The sophomore shot nearly 59 percent from the field and 53 percent from long distance while setting a season-high in field goals made (9) against Midwestern State. The two 20+ performances mark his fourth and fifth of the season. Jordan also added six assists over the two games.
The Rattlers return home this week to face Texas A&M International on Thursday before welcoming Texas A&M Kingsville to Bill Greehey Arena.
