Men's and Women's Tennis Have Nine Players in ITA Regional Rankings

SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's Men's and Women's Tennis had nine players in the ITA South Central Regional rankings released last week, including the No. 1 ranked individual for the women, sophomore Ashley Penshorn.

Rounding out the women's rankings for the Rattlers are freshmen Charli Delmonico and Marina Vigil at No. 17 and No. 20, respectively. Penshorn and Vigil are the No. 1 ranked doubles team in the region, with Delmonico and junior Abigail Csengery joining them at No. 4. 

In the men's rankings, senior Jeremiah Gonzalez is ranked No. 9 and freshman Marc Maciel No. 16. Gonzalez and junior Brendan Brown are ranked No. 2 in the region for doubles teams and senior Bojan Popovic and junior Saisaurav Konakanchi are ranked No. 4.
