St. Edward's outlasts St. Mary's in 'Battle of Saints'

SAN ANTONIO — The Rattlers fell to the Hilltoppers of St. Edward's, 5-4, in the "Battle of the Saints."

Starting off with a 2-1 lead in doubles, the Rattlers were unable to hold on in singles. In singles, No. 1 Jeremiah Gonzalez improved to  13-4 on the season after his 6-1 ,6-3 victory. No. 3 Jose Antelo moved to 12-5 on the season after overcoming his opponent 6-1, 7-6.
