Complete team effort lead Rattlers to victory over Jaguars

VICTORIA, Texas — For the second-straight game, the St. Mary's Rattlers posted double-digit runs against the Houston-Victoria Jaguars enroute to an 18-3 victory in seven innings on Tuesday afternoon.

Six Rattlers posted multiple RBI. Jacob Aguilar and Bryan Ramirez posted four-RBI with Ramirez going 2-for-4 with a run scored and Aguilar going a perfect 3-for-3 with a home run and a trio of runs scored.

Going 3-for-5 at the plate was Donnie Perez who posted two RBI and two runs scored to go along with a home run.

The two other Rattlers that hit homers in the game were Jacob Arevalo, who hit a two-run homer in the top of the second inning, and Javier Camacho, who crushed a solo blast to left field in the top of the seventh.

Hayden Hibler tossed six innings, allowing only two runs and striking out five in the process.

St. Mary's gets set to face Lubbock Christian in a four-game series this weekend at home beginning on March 3 at Dickson Stadium.
