Falcons stun Rattlers with come-from-behind win

SAN ANTONIO — A game-tying Texas-Permian Basin grand slam in the seventh inning Saturday helped spur a 10-7, come-from-behind win over St. Mary's Baseball.

After tying the game at 7-7, the Falcons tacked on another run in the seventh and two more over the eighth and ninth innings while silencing a once-red-hot Rattler offense at Dickson Stadium. 

Bryan Ramirez, Zach Johnson and Angel Vega all had two hits apiece for St. Mary's (19-14, 6-6). Johnson and Vega each added two RBI, while Jack Kaiser was responsible for the Rattlers' other RBI in the game. 

Kyler Lambert was hung with the loss in the game. 

St. Mary's will return to action Wednesday, when the Rattlers travel to Stephenville, Texas to take on Tarleton State. The game is set to begin at 3 p.m.
