MASON, Texas — No. 27 nationally ranked St. Mary's Men's Tennis ended its regular-season in victory last weekend, beating out McMurry to earn the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Heartland Conference Championship Tournament.
The Rattlers bested the War Hawks 7-2, ending the regular-season 11-9 overall and 5-1 in league play.
St. Mary's swept in doubles play while
Philipp Raickovic,
Michael Maciel,
Bob Resink and
Carlos Olea each picked up victories on the singles court.
The Rattlers will now compete for Heartland Conference postseason championship starting Friday as St. Mary's hosts the Heartland Conference Championship Tournament.

The Rattlers will enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed while St. Edward's enters as the No. 1 seed, UA Fort Smith as the No. 3 seed and Newman as the No. 4 seed.
