GOLDEN, Colo. — The Lady Rattlers again felt the heat of the RMAC Conference, recording just two targeted shots against New Mexico Highlands Sunday to fall 0-3.

The Rattlers struck after 45 seconds of each period that resulted in saves with Kristal Williams (Fr., Ponder, Texas) firing in the first half and Kaitie Kasperitis (Jr., Corpus Christi, Texas) in the second. The two shots would be the only shots on goal for St. Mary's out of its five total shots for the game.

The Cowgirls' (2-0-2) offense was just as strong as their defense as they gave Rattler goalie Alyssa Taramona (So., Forney, Texas) a career-high seven saves for the game out of 18 total shots. Taramona allowed three goals to drop to 2-2 on the season.

New Mexico Highlands netted its first goal on the game two minutes into regulation and again at the 60 and 72-minute mark. The Cowgirls' Brooke D'Onofrio had a team-high seven shots with three shot on goal including one goal.

The Rattlers will remain on the road to face Texas A&M Commerce at 4 p.m. Friday in Commerce, Texas.
