Box Score

SAN ANTONIO — Two minutes into overtime Saturday, McMurry's Rachel Moore showed she knew what to do with the ball in her possession.

Moore went coast to coast, maneuvering past a handful of St. Mary's Women's Soccer defenders for the walk-off, 2-1 victory at Sigma Beta Chi Field.

St. Mary's (8-7-1, 5-3 Heartland Conference) looked good early, as Jamey Coronado found the back of the net less than two minutes into the game. But the Rattlers' offense dried up, and a 14th-minute goal from McMurry's Paige Harwell tied up the game at 1-1, a score that would last through the end of regulation.

The Rattlers outshot McMurry (7-7-1) 20-5, with 12 shots coming on goal.

St. Mary's, which has already clinched a spot in the Heartland Conference Tournament, is now locked into the No. 3 seed for the tournament. The Rattlers will wrap up the regular season Monday, when they host St. Edward's at Noon at Sigma Beta Chi Field.
