RICHARDSON, Texas - St. Mary's University Men's Soccer sophomore Sebastian Poblete was honored on Tuesday as the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week, winning the first weekly award of his career.

Poblete, a forward from Kendall West, Fla., scored a brace in the 2-1 victory over rival St. Edward's on Saturday. Poblete scored both goals – over an 8:32 stretch – to fuel a 2-1 come-from-behind win. He tied it in the 61st minute then notched the game-winner. His play has helped the Rattlers to a three-game winning streak.

Poblete is the fourth Rattler to win a weekly award this season, joining Eduardo Fernandez on offense and Lewis Boney and Filipe Bastos on defense.
