SAN ANTONIO — With a well-balanced roster of newcomers and returners, the St. Mary's University Women's Soccer team faces a challenging schedule in 2025, looking to return to the NCAA Championship for the third time in four years.

During the exhibition season, the Rattlers will travel to take on a pair of Division I foes in Houston (Aug. 17) and UTSA (Aug. 21). A season ago, StMU lost a 1-0 decision at UTSA, but had opportunities to even the score.

The team opens the regular season in Colorado, taking on Fort Lewis on Sept. 4 and No. 22 Colorado Mesa on Sept. 6.

The home opener on Sept. 13 is against East Central. The Rattlers hold a 4-1-1 record at home against the Tigers and won 5-0 in 2022, the last time the two teams met.

StMU begins Lone Star Conference play with the newest team in the league, UT Dallas on Sept. 17 before the team comes home to host No.15 DBU on Sept. 20 and Texas Woman's on Sept. 24 for Youth League Night.

After a pair of road matches, including the Battle of the Saints on Sept. 27, StMU returns to host Oklahoma Christian on Oct. 4 and Sul Ross State on Oct. 8. Angelo State, which is ranked No. 18 in the preseason polls, hosts the Rattlers on Oct. 11. A rematch of the LSC Quarterfinals against Midwestern State takes place at Sigma Beta Chi Field on Oct. 15 for Fan Appreciation Night.

Senior Day takes place on Oct. 25 against Eastern New Mexico, and the Rattlers host Texas A&M International for Boo Bash on Oct. 29.

The regular season ends on the road with trips to UT Permian Basin on Nov. 1 and Lubbock Christian on Nov. 4.
