SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's University Esports had an exciting week 5 of the ECAC regular season with match wins for Call of Duty and Rocket League. With an overall season record of 4-1 for Call of Duty and 5-0 for Rocket League, the Rattlers are set to qualify for the ECAC postseason tournaments.
On Wednesday, the Rattlers' Rocket League extended their win streak to five with their 4-0 win over SUNY Canton. This marks the second shutout for the Rattlers this spring, the first of the season coming against Keiser– Lakeland on Jan. 29.

Troy Johnson had this to say after the game. "We secured the win, but it was a full team effort. Every pass, save and shot mattered. I really couldn't have done it without my squad."
The Fortnite squad faced another challenging week in the ECAC Trios competition, placing 64 of 94, moving up four spots from the previous week. The squad has two weeks to place in the top third of the leaderboard to qualify for the postseason.
On Friday, Feb. 28, Call of Duty faced SUNY Alfred and secured another 3-0 victory, putting the Rattlers one step closer to the ECAC postseason.

What's Next?
This week the Rattlers continue onto week 6 of the ECAC regular season. Rattler Esports will not have scheduled games during spring break but will resume play Tuesday, March 18 for the Valorant team to face Muskingum at 7:00 PM.
