SAN ANTONIO — The No. 42 St. Mary's University Women's Tennis team made quick work of the Sul Ross State Lobos on Sunday morning, sweeping its second straight Lone Star Conference opponent, 7-0.
The Rattlers improved to 10-1 on the year and 2-0 in league action and have won six straight matches.
StMU did not drop a single game in any of the seven matches, winning both doubles matches 6-0 and all five singles bouts 6-0, 6-0. The Lobos (0-6, 0-3) defaulted at both three doubles and six singles.
St. Mary's heads out on the road, playing the next four matches away from the friendly confines of Rohrbach Tennis Stadium, beginning with #20 Lubbock Christian on Thursday, April 3 at 10 a.m.
