SAN ANTONIO — All good things must come to an end, and the No. 25 St. Mary's University Men's Basketball team's winning streak was halted at 11 on Saturday afternoon against No. 6 DBU, 80-68.

The Rattlers (17-5, 14-2) struggled mightily from the free throw line, making only 45.2 percent of their attempts, missing 17 attempts, while on the flip side, the Patriots (23-3, 15-2) sank 17-of-21 (81 percent) from the charity stripe.

Junior guard
Wayne Wiggins (Mansfield, Texas) continued to add a huge spark off the bench, scoring a career-high 17 points to lead the team.
Damani Claxton (Bronx, N.Y.) and
Lachlan Bofinger (Sydney, Australia) joined Wiggins in double figures in the scoring column with 14 and 10, respectively. Bofinger led the team with seven rebounds and dished out a team-best six assists.
Eddie McPhee (Denver, Colo.) blocked a game-high three shots and added two steals.

St. Mary's scored 40 of its 68 points in the paint but was out-rebounded for the first time since Jan. 11, 39-to-37. There were six ties and nine lead changes throughout the game, however the Rattlers led for only 8:35.Â

Cameron Kahn led DBU with a double-double, leading the game with 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Xavion Brown tied for game-high honors with six assists. Ricky Lujan scored 12 and Drew Calderon added 11.Â

The Rattlers remain at home, hosting Oklahoma Christian on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Cameron on Saturday at 3 before playing three of their final four regular season games on the road.
