SAN ANTONIO — Unique and personalized merchandise opportunities for student-athletes at St. Mary's University are now available thanks to a partnership with the Department of Athletics and Influxer, announced on Monday.
Influxer has partnered with over 500 colleges and universities nationwide to provide student-athletes with the opportunity to leverage their personal brand through high-quality, customized gear. This is the first partnership to allow student-athletes an opportunity to earn royalties from the sale of co-branded apparel featuring their name and number, combined with the official StMU logo.
"This partnership with Influxer is a terrific opportunity for our student-athletes to capitalize on their NIL and grow their own brand," said Executive Director of Athletics
Robert Coleman. "We look forward to more collaborations that allow our student-athletes to succeed outside the classroom and off the playing field."
Each student-athlete will be able to create their own webpage linked to the Rattlers' online store. Influxer works with student-athletes to personalize co-licensed products and oversees fulfillment of orders as well as payment processing. An easy-to-use mobile app allows student-athletes to apply to marketing campaigns, post deliverables, and conveniently receive payment after completing deals.

Influxer provides training and handles tax documents to assist student-athletes in their NIL journey. Sales through Influxer benefit both the individual student-athlete and the Athletics Department through a mutual licensing agreement. Deals through Influxer are non-exclusive, allowing student-athletes to pursue other NIL opportunities as well.
