SAN ANTONIO – The name of the game at Dickson Stadium on Friday evening was the home run derby as the two baseball teams combined to hit seven..Â
Â
The St. Mary's University Baseball team hit three in a 13-6 loss to Cameron, while the Aggies hit four on a night where the wind was blowing in from centerfield.
Â
Seniors
RJ Galvan (Alice, Texas) and
Devin Goins (San Antonio) hit back-to-back jacks in the fourth inning, marking the third time this season the Rattlers have hit home runs in consecutive at bats. Goins left the yard again in the sixth with Galvan on base. StMU also plated one run each in the eighth and ninth innings for the team's six runs.
Â
The Aggies scored two each in the second and third innings, one in the fourth, two in the fifth and three each in the seventh and eighth frames for the lopsided win.
