•   The Rattlers have their busiest week of the spring season, playing four matches in a five-day stretch. StMU hosts Bethel on Friday and Northeastern State on Tuesday with a quick trip to Dallas in between where they will face Ouachita Baptist and Hawai'i Pacific.
•   St. Mary's is coming off a 7-0 sweep of the University of Saint Mary on Friday. Both Kyndall Quiroz and Elisa Rodriguez won 6-0, 6-0, while all six Rattlers won in straight sets in singles.
•   The doubles team of junior Paula Garrote and sophomore Alessia Terlizzi are a perfect 5-0 in doubles matches this spring and are now 7-1 together on the year. The seven straight wins are the longest on the team. Last week the pair moved up to the number one spot, winning 6-2 against Saint Mary.
•   This week marks the first time the Rattlers have faced Bethel and Ouachita Baptist in women's tennis competition. StMU is 0-4 all-time against Hawai'i Pacific though the teams haven't played since 2019 and they are 3-5 against Northeastern State, winning the last three meetings. The teams last played in 2018.
•   Junior transfer Paula Garrote was named the initial Lone Star Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the spring after she won a three-set thriller at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles against UTRGV. It was the first weekly award for Garrote in the Gold and Blue.
•   Sophomore Stela Sifuentes is riding the longest winning streak on the team in singles play, winning four straight. She has won all four in straight sets, winning one at four, one at five and two at number six.
•   Freshman Selina Wu finished 1-2 at the ITA Cup during the fall season and was the only freshman in the 16-player women's singles draw at the prestigious tournament. The Rattlers have had at least one participant the last four seasons.
•   Selina Wu reached the finals of the South Central Regional, falling in the finals to second-seeded Alessa Maier from Texas A&M Kingsville. Wu went 5-1 at the tournament and earned an at-large berth to the ITA Cup.
