AUSTIN, Texas – The St. Mary's University Women's Soccer team once again had to play catch up, surrendering an early goal, and they eventually fell 2-1 in the Battle of the Saints on Wednesday afternoon.

St. Edward's (3-2-1, 2-1-0 Lone Star Conference) scored in the sixth minute to put the Rattlers (3-2-4, 2-1-0 Lone Star) in a pinch. StMU was the more aggressive team throughout, out-shooting the Hilltoppers 12-8 overall and 6-4 in shots on goal, as well as 8-to-2 on corner kicks.
