NET POINTS

•    St. Mary's continues its road-warrior status, playing another two matches away from Rohrbach Stadium this week with bouts at UAFS on Friday at 1 p.m. and #13 Cameron on Saturday at 10 a.m. It marks the fourth-straight week the Rattlers have faced a nationally-ranked team.

•    The Rattlers are 4-0 against teams in the top 50 in the ITA poll, including a thrilling 4-3 win over #22 Angelo State last Saturday.

•    St. Mary's is riding a nine-match win streak and has won 11 of its last 12 matches, with the lone loss coming at the hands of Division I UTRGV. The Rattlers are ranked 17th in the nation and are 17-3 this season.

•    The Rattlers are 12-1 all-time against UAFS and have won 12 straight, however the teams have only played one match in Fort Smith prior to Friday.  In 2022, StMU won 7-0.

•    StMU holds a slight 10-8 advantage in the series with Cameron. The Rattlers won 4-2 in the Lone Star Conference Tournament Finals a season ago, avenging a regular season loss. The Gold & Blue are 3-5 all-time in Lawton.

•    The duo of senior Gabi Ioannou and freshman Stela Sifuentes has been on fire since first coming together this spring. The pair are 10-0 in doubles matches, with nine victories coming at #3.

•    St. Mary's remained steady at #17 in the national rankings this week. The team has been 17th in each of the last three polls.

•    After a pair of exciting wins last week, freshman Stela Sifuentes now sports the longest active winning streak on the team with eight consecutive. Senior Angela Vargas is right behind her with a streak of seven straight and sophomore Bailey Godwin has won six in a row.

•    In the ITA individual rankings, senior Ashley Penshorn is 25th in the singles rankings this week. She and partner Kyndall Quiroz are #11 in doubles.

•    Senior Ashley Penshorn earned the Lone Star Women's Tennis Player of the Week twice in a row on the long Spring Break trip. Penshorn is 16-3 in duals this season and has 73 victories in duals. She is four wins shy of the all-time mark of 77 by Cristina Lopez (2012-16).
