SATELLITE BEACH, Fla. – The St. Mary's Women's Tennis team won a pair of matches in Florida on Wednesday, defeating Indiana (Pa.) 4-3 before returning from a short rain shower to overpower Bentley 7-0.
Â
"We did a great job controlling points today," said Director of Tennis
Bill Macom. "In doubles we were more aggressive and that was a solid start. Singles could have gone much differently on all the courts as there were so many momentum shifts, however the girls did a really good job keeping their composure to pull out the two wins."
Â
The Rattlers (11-3) are now 3-0 on the Spring Break trip with two matches remaining. The team faces St. Thomas Aquinas on Thursday and closes the road swing with Palm Beach Atlantic on Friday.
