SAN ANTONIO — Getting his first start in a Gold and Blue uniform didn't change the production for St. Mary's University senior
Lachlan Bofinger as he recorded his fifth double-double of the season however, the Rattlers couldn't quite ever overcome the fast start by Cameron, falling 92-82 on Tuesday afternoon.

Bofinger, from Sydney, Australia, scored a career-best and game-high tying 18 points and tied for game-high honors with 13 rebounds, notching his fifth double-double in eight games this season.Â

Three other Rattlers (4-4, 1-3 Lone Star Conference) scored in double digits, as senior
Davion Coleman (Houston) netted 17, senior
Jalon Johnson (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) just missed out on a double-double with a season-best 16 points and a career-high tying nine assists, and senior
Tyler Caron (Longview, Texas) came off the bench to score 13 and grab eight rebounds.

Cameron (6-3, 3-1 Lone Star) scored 12 of the first 15 points on the afternoon and posted 56 of its 92 points in the paint. The Rattlers cut the deficit to five midway through the second half but could never get any closer in the team's third-straight loss.

Lavell Brodnex led the Aggies with 18 points, while Andre Washington recorded a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds and Reggie Prudhomme led the team with seven assists.

The Rattlers shot 41.2 percent from the field but once again struggled from the free throw line, missing 10 for a 65.5 percentage (19-for-29). CU shot 51.4 percent from the floor and also missed 10 free throws, shooting 54.5 percent (12-for-22).

St. Mary's steps out of Lone Star Conference play for the final time this season, traveling to play in the Daytona Beach Shootout on Dec. 17-18. The Rattlers face Montana State-Billings on Sunday, Dec. 17 at 5 p.m. before taking on Dominican (N.Y.) on Monday at 5 p.m.
