SAN ANTONIO — Three-pointers late for UTSA put the game out of reach for the St. Mary's University Women's Basketball team in the first exhibition game of the year as they fell 67-46 to the Roadrunners.

Taylor Haggan (Parker, Texas) led the Rattlers with 13 points and four rebounds. Junior
Sheridan Kavanagh (Melbourne, Australia) also had four rebounds, while senior
Natalia Ryng (Gdynia, Poland) led the way with three assists and two steals.

The Rattlers trailed by only seven after the third quarter, 45-38, and cut the score to three, 45-42 on a three-pointer by Kavanagh with 8:34 remaining in the fourth, but a 17-2 run by the 'Runners got hot late to pull away.

Kyra White led UTSA with 19 points, while Idara Udo had eight rebounds and Hailey Atwood led the game with five assists.

The Rattlers have one more exhibition on the slate, playing at UTRGV on Saturday at 2 p.m. St. Mary's begins the year at Colorado School of Mines on Friday, November 10 at 2 p.m. CT.
