Opening Tip
• The Rattlers close out the 2021-22 season hosting rival St. Edward's in a non-conference tilt. The game will be Senior Day where Christina Baker, Mya Culiver, Brianna Ford, Sydney Hardeman and Hannah Wilson will be honored. The team is also excited to bring Audrey Wandji back since her senior day was cancelled a year ago due to Covid.
• St. Mary's knocked West Texas A&M out of the top spot in the Lone Star standings on Monday with its 57-48 win. Two of the team's three wins this year come against teams in the top six in the league (TAMUK).
• Senior Hannah Wilson scored 28 points in the win over West Texas A&M. It is the sixth time she's topped the 20-point milestone this season and it gave her over 1,300 points for her career (1,319).
• Head Coach Jason Martens shook up the starting lineup at Texas A&M Commerce and sophomore Michaela Kucera scored a career-high 12 points in her first start.
• Sophomore Bella Hughes and freshman Ariana Rosado also got the first starts in their careers.
• The 70 three-pointers by junior Sydney Hardeman ranks fourth on the school's single season list and she needs seven to tie the record by Moesha Nash (2002-03).
• Hannah Wilson's 309 rebounds this season also rank 3rd in StMU history and she's 16 away from tying the record of 325 by Morgan Pullins in 2014-15.
