TYLER, Texas – The St. Mary's Women's Basketball team couldn't overcome a fast start by the UT Tyler Patriots on Thursday evening, losing 61-32.

The Rattlers (2-23, 2-13 Lone Star Conference) got a game-high 14 rebounds from senior forward
Hannah Wilson (Fredericksburg, Texas) as they out-rebounded the Patriots (15-6, 8-3 Lone Star) 35-to-32. StMU also did a good job of limiting second-chance points for UTT as they had only five offensive rebounds.

St. Mary's tallied 10 assists on 11 baskets and senior guard
Mya Culiver (Rockwall, Texas) dished out four of those 10.

Faith Phillips (San Marcos, Texas) and junior
Briley Perkins (Houston) led the team with six points each as 10 of the 13 Rattlers scored between one and six points.

StMU plays its final road game of the season on Saturday at 2 p.m. against 7th-ranked Texas A&M Commerce. The Lions defeated St. Edward's in Commerce on Thursday.
