SAN ANTONIO – In the final non-conference game of the 2022-23 season, the St. Mary's Men's Basketball team emptied the bench in a second-straight lopsided victory, this time over Arlington Baptist on Monday, 95-49.

The Rattlers (6-3) led by as many as 53 during the game, scoring 40 points off Patriot (0-11) turnovers and 24 second chance points on the afternoon.

Junior
Tyler Caron (Longview, Texas) led all players with 19 points, while senior
Mamady Djikine (Paris, France) scored 13 and senior
Jaron Presley (Katy, Texas) chipped in 11. Senior
Emmanuel Ewuzie (San Antonio) led the team with nine rebounds as the Rattlers topped the 20-offensive rebound mark for the second-straight game.

Lovre Zaja (Zagreb, Croatia) came off the bench to lead the way with six assists and he was one of three Rattlers with two steals. Both Ewuzie and junior
Jaden Moore (Okinawa, Japan) each blocked one shot.

The Rattlers shot 44.4 percent for the game, including 58.8 percent in the second half and they drained 12 three-pointers, three each by Caron and Presley.

St. Mary's takes a break for the holidays, returning to the court on Dec. 30 against Texas A&M-Kingsville at 5 p.m. or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's game.
