SAN ANTONIO – The St. Mary's Men's Basketball team started quick and never let up, winning 102-60 over Dallas Christian on Saturday afternoon.

The Rattlers (5-3) scored the first 10 points of the contest and five hit double digits in the lopsided affair. Junior
Tyler Caron (Longview, Texas) tied for game-high honors with 13 points, while
Mamady Djikine (Paris, France),
Emmanuel Ewuzie (San Antonio),
Dawson John (Brantford, Ontario, Canada) and
Jaron Presley (Katy, Texas) each scored 12.

Djikine, Ewuzie and
Lovre Zaja (Zagreb, Croatia) all tied for the lead in rebounds with six apiece and
Jalon Johnson (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) dished out six assists.

Ewuzie blocked a team-high two shots and
Caleb Jordan (Midlothian, Texas),
Ryan Leonard (Kerry, Ireland) and John all had two steals.

All 13 on the active roster played between eight and 18 minutes, scored at least four and grabbed at least one rebound and 12 of the 13 collected at least one assist.

St. Mary's hosts Arlington Baptist on Monday at 2 p.m. in the final non-conference game of the year before taking a break for the holidays.
