THE RECAP
Your St. Mary's Rattlers moved to 5-2 after picking up their second consecutive conference win over Texas Woman's University, 2-0. The Rattlers, who are now 2-0 in LSC play, recorded their fourth win in a row by shutting out the Pioneers on the road.
The Rattlers benefitted from the scoring efforts of Megan Copeland and Juni Ejere. Copeland put the Rattlers up 1-0 in the first half, while Ejere buried her fourth goal of the season with just three minutes remaining in the contest. Miranda Narvaez earned another assist on Ejere's goal.
With the win, St. Mary's sits in second place in the Lone Star Conference. While it is early in the season, the Rattlers' hot start is important for building momentum in one of the premier soccer conferences in the country.

HEAD COACH KEVIN DRIGGS ON THE PERFORMANCE
"We didn't play our best, but it is great to get a conference win on the road. I'm very proud of how hard our team competes day in and day out. To come out and compete against a team like TWU is very encouraging."
