SAN ANTONIO – The St. Mary's Women's Tennis team suffered its first loss of the year this morning as they fell 6-1 to the Central Oklahoma Bronchos.
The doubles competition was played to clinch and the Bronchos picked up wins at the No. 1 line and No. 3 line to take the point.
Marina Vigil and
Gabi Ioannou were up 5-3 at the No. 2 doubles spot before Central Oklahoma clinched.
Abigail Csengery earned the lone point for the Rattlers. At No. 6 singles, the senior earned a 7-5 victory in the first set before taking the match with a 6-1 win in the second set.
St. Mary's will return to action on Monday as they host UTRGV in an exhibition match at Rohrbach Tennis Stadium.
