SAN ANTONIO – The St. Mary's Men's Tennis team fell to the University of Texas at Tyler on Saturday afternoon at Rohrbach Tennis Stadium. The Rattlers lost 5-2 and pull even at 1-1 in Lonestar Conference action.

Leon Hein picked up the Rattlers only win in doubles action, as the duo defeated their Patriot opponents, 6-3. The Patriots earned victories at the No. 1 and No. 2 lines to clinch the doubles point.
Jeremiah Sanchez improved to 10-0 in singles competition at the No. 1 line. Sanchez outlasted his opponent in three sets (7-5, 5-7, 6-2) to earn the win.
James Finnigan picked up the only other Rattler victory on the day at the No. 5 singles spot. Finnigan won in straight sets (6-4, 6-2), picking up his fourth win of the year.
St. Mary's will return to action on April 9 as the Rattlers travel to Arkansas Fort Smith for a Lone Star Conference match.
