Box Score 2 KERRVILLE, Texas – The St. Mary's University Women's Tennis squad remained unbeaten as they defeated Howard Payne University and Schreiner University, 9-0 and 9-0 on this afternoon. The win is the third straight for the Rattlers as they picked up a 9-0 win over the University of St. Thomas to open their season last weekend.
The Rattlers dominated on the court today, losing just five total sets in two matches.
"We are off to a great start record wise, but everyone still has a lot of fundamental work to do before conference play gets underway," said St. Mary's Director of Tennis
Bill Macom. "We will experiment with more doubles combinations in practice this week to see if there are any other rotations that can be successful together. Overall, we are pleased with the effort and enthusiasm of all our players today."
