SAN ANTONIO – Despite the start of the match being delayed seven hours due to weather and wet court conditions, the St. Mary's Women's Tennis team continues to impress as they swept UT Permian Basin, 7-0, the fifth straight time this season they have swept their opponent.
The Rattlers move to 5-0 overall and 1-0 in Lone Star Conference action.
St. Mary's won all three doubles matchups to secure the doubles point for the Rattlers.
In singles action, the Rattlers took all six points.
Abigail Csengery won her opening set, 7-6 (7-3) and cruised to a 6-0 victory in her second.
Gabi Ioannou clinched the match for the Rattlers, winning 6-1, 6-1.
The Rattlers will return to action on Friday as they host Central Oklahoma at Rohrbach Tennis Stadium.
