OKLAHOMA CITY – In the first of back-to-back games at Oklahoma Christian, the St. Mary's Men's Basketball team scored even in the second half but couldn't overcome the 11-point first-half deficit, falling 79-68.Â
Junior forward Mamady Dijkine (Paris, France) scored in double figures for the ninth-straight game, leading the Rattlers (3-9, 3-8 Lone Star Conference) with 18 points, while senior guard Kobe Magee (San Antonio) - playing in just his second game of the year – scored 15.Â
Redshirt freshman Tyler Caron (Longview, Texas) led the club with nine rebounds, while junior guard Caleb Jordan (Midlothian, Texas) had a team-best five assists. Five Rattlers combined for seven blocked shots.Â
St. Mary's took care of the ball, turning the ball over just seven times, while recording 18 assists on 28 made baskets. They also scored 12 points off 13 Eagles (6-11, 6-11 Lone Star) miscues.
Oklahoma Christian had four players score in double figures, while Anthony Johnson posted a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.Â
The two teams conclude the 2020-21 regular season with a rematch, scheduled for approximately 4 p.m.Â
