•For the first time in school history, the Rattlers have advanced to the Lone Star Conference Tournament, earning the nine-seed. The Rattlers travel to UT Permian Basin, the eight-seed, for the second time this season.
•In the first meeting, the Rattlers lost a close, five-set battle, 15-13 in the fifth. So. OH Julia Aleman led the team with 17 kills, while Sr. OH Alissa Tolbert had a then-career-high 28 digs.
•The Rattlers have tallied double figure blocks in five of the last six matches, including a season-high 14 blocks at Texas A&M Kingsville on Nov. 16. The team has climbed from 16th in the league to 10th over that stretch.
• L Gabi Sandoval (431) and senior OH Alissa Tolbert (371) are the first duo at StMU to both have over 350 digs in a year since the trio of Stephanie Flores (514), Katie Kershner (387) and Allie Murray (370) all hit the milestone in 2010.
•Sr. MB Julia Deais climbed over 60 spots in the NCAA Division II statistics in blocks per set this week. Deais currently ranks 227th with 0.82 blocks per set, and is averaging 1.19 over the last five matches.
•Since joining Division II, the Rattlers are 11-13 all-time in conference tournaments, winning the Heartland Conference Championships in 2000, 2010 and 2017.
