THE RECAPĀ
Your St. Mary's Rattlers improve to 9-3 with their 1-0 victory over UTPB in double-overtime. The Rattlers, who are now 2-0 in Lone Star Conference play, dominated offensively, but didn't score until the final possible period. With the win, the Rattlers are now on a five-game winning streak.
The Rattlers dominated time of performance against the Falcons, who struggled to get anything going on the attacking side. St. Mary's possessed the ball over 65% of the time. Finally, after 104 minutes of scoreless play, Lewis Wilson buried the golden goal in the left side of the net to send the Rattler faithful home happy.
THREE THINGS TO KNOWĀ

- St. Mary's now sits at the top of the Lone Star Conference with six points through two games.
HEAD COACH JOHNNY CLIFFORD ON WINNER
"We would have liked to be a little cleaner, but I thought we dominated the game. UTPB really wanted this one and they defended really hard. They challenged us in the final third. Lewis doesn't score many goals as a defender, so that will mean a lot to him."
UP NEXTĀ
The Rattlers head on the road for a big rematch against West Texas A&M. The Buffs and Rattlers will kick off at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night.
