Women's Basketball Returns Home on 3-Game Win Streak to Play A&M-International and Kingsville

SAN ANTONIO – The St. Mary's University Women's Basketball team won both games on the road last week to bring a three-game win streak home as they take on Texas A&M-International and Kingsville this week.

The Rattlers won their first three games against the Dustdevils in 2008, and have only lost four in the all-time series, compiling a 20-4 overall record against TAMIU. 

The Rattlers lost the first matchup against the Javelinas in 2006, but went on to win the next seven in a row. St. Mary's also won both matchups last season against Kingsville.

Redshirt junior Jessica Barbosa broke the single-game rebounding record at St. Mary's with 21 in the team's last game against Midwestern State, and also had a career-high six steals.
