DALLAS – St. Mary's University Women's Tennis was well represented at the ITA South Central Regionals held at the Arlington Tennis Center this week. The Rattlers were led by sophomore
Ashley Penshorn who won five matches on her way to the championship round of the singles A Draw.
Penshorn was crowned the ITA South Central Regional Champion on Saturday afternoon as she defeated Kate Daugherty of DBU 6-4, 6-4.
Penshorn joined doubles teammate
Marina Vigil in the A Draw Doubles where the duo defeated Gonzales and Ovcina of Angelo State by a score of 6-4, 7-6 (5) to win the Championship.
