Women's Soccer Drops Road Match at St. Edward's 5-0

SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's Women's Soccer fell 5-0 on the road to St. Edward's University on Saturday.

The loss drops the Rattlers to 2-5 on the year and 0-2 in Lone Star Conference play. The St. Mary's offense had a pair of shots on goal from Alexia Maldonado and Leah Whitaker, but it wasn't enough to cut into the deficit. The Rattler goalkeepers also came up with a pair of saves, one from Erin Longford and one from Cameron Koerner. 

The Rattlers will look to recharge and get their first Lone Star victory when they return home to Sigma Beta Chi Field on Oct. 3 to take on Texas A&M-International.
