Volleyball Plays First Home Matches of the Season

SAN ANTONIO – The St. Mary's University Volleyball team plays its first two home matches of the season this weekend against Eastern New Mexico on Friday at 6 p.m. and West Texas A&M on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Series Information:
 
The Rattlers and Greyhounds have played just two matches against each other prior to this weekend, both of which were sweeps. The Greyhounds won on their court in 2015 and the Rattlers won in San Antonio last year.
 
The Lady Buffs have won all four matchups with the Rattlers, dating back to 2013. The two teams recently played to five sets against each other at the Lady Buff Classic earlier this month, with the Rattlers coming up just short. St. Mary's will look for revenge on Saturday against the Lady Buffs.

Alissa Tolbert and KK Payne lead the Rattlers in kills so far this season with 98 and 97, respectively. 

Setter Bree Perry leads in the team in assists with 347, averaging over nine per set. 
 
Libero Catherine Cruz leads the team in digs with 129 this season, and Rachel McDonald leads in blocks with 25.
