Men's Tennis stumbles to Warhawks, 5-2

SAN ANTONIO — The St. Mary's Men's Tennis team won the doubles point Tuesday, but Auburn-Montgomery claimed five of the singles matches off the court on the way to a 5-2 victory.
 
The Rattlers jumped on the board early behind doubles wins from the tandems of Bojan Popovic/Jeremiah Gonzalez (6-2) and Brendan Brown/Jose Antelo (6-3).
 
But the Rattlers couldn't carry that momentum into singles action. Gonzalez provided StMU's second point of the day, emerging from a two-set sweep against Alvaro Terron at No. 1 singles, winning 6-1, 6-2.
