SAN ANTONIO – Six Rattlers scored in double figures on Tuesday night as St. Mary's University Men's Basketball cruised to their sixth win of the season with a 102-79 victory over Bethany College to boost their record to 6-4 on the season.
Kobe Magee led all scorers with a career-high 25 points as the Rattlers eclipsed 100 points for the first time this season and the first time since 2017. The junior finished 5-of-8 from beyond the arc and nabbed a team-high three steals in the victory.
St. Mary's connected on a 16 three's and 37 total field goals, both season-highs for the Rattlers.
Sophomore
Dylan Isenhower recorded his sixth double figure scoring effort and his second double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds, tying his teammates
Lamont Traylor and
Emmanuel Ewuzie for the game-high. Traylor added 13 points for his double-double in a Rattler uniform.
The trio of
Matej Gaspert,
Caleb Jordan, and
Jaron Presley each added 12 points in the win.
The Rattlers continue Lone Star Conference action on Saturday as they travel north to Austin to take on the ninth-ranked St. Edward's Hilltoppers. Tipoff is set for 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21.
