PORTALES, N.M. – The St. Mary's University Men's Soccer team picked up its first road win of the year on Thursday night as they defeated Lone Star Conference foe, Eastern New Mexico University by a score of 3-2.
Jesus Valenzuela was responsible for two of the Rattlers' three goals as he scored at the 40' and 57' minute mark, giving St. Mary's a 2-1 lead. The sophomore now has three goals on the year and registered his first multi-goal game of his career.

Ollie Wright found the back of the net for his fourth goal of the year and eventual game-winner against the Greyhounds.
Eastern New Mexico did not go away quietly as they netted a goal in the 79th minute to make it a one-goal match.
The Rattlers won the shots on goal battle as they placed eight on frame to the Greyhounds seven.
St. Mary's will continue its road trip on Saturday as they take on the 22
nd ranked West Texas A&M Buffs in Canyon, Texas. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
