Pair of goals push Rattlers past Eagles

OKLAHOMA CITY — Goals from Miranda Narvaez and Alexia Maldonado propelled St. Mary's to a 2-0 victory over Oklahoma Christian on Saturday.
 
The tandem assisted on each other's goals as St. Mary's picked up its first win in conference play this season. 
 
In the 26th minute, Narvaez deposited the first goal of the match from 10 yards out. Midway through the second half, Maldonado connected on a cross from six yards out to double the Rattler lead.
 
Erin Longford picked up the clean sheet with five saves in the match.
 
The Rattlers will return home on Thursday to host DBU at 7 p.m.
