Two-game road trip ends in draw for Rattlers

OKLAHOMA CITY — On Sunday, Men's Soccer played to a 1-1 draw against Oklahoma Christian.
 
The Rattlers (4-1-2, HC 2-1-1) jumped to the lead in the 62nd minute on a header by Pato Botello Faz that was assisted by Carlos Blasco. 
 
A dozen minutes later, an Eagle penalty kick goal by Matheus Mantovani equalized the match.
 
In the first overtime period, the Rattlers had a pair of opportunities to win the match. Nenad Markovic had a shot bounce off the post with Blasco's shot off the rebound going wide in the 100th minute.
 
The final three shots of the match belonged to the Rattlers who were unable to find the back of the net and break the deadlock.
 
Next for the Rattlers will be a home match on Thursday against Eastern New Mexico.
