Williams' hot start not enough against Hillcats

SAN ANTONIO — Despite Freddie Williams opening the game with 13-straight points, the St. Mary's Rattlers fell to Rogers State 65-60.
 
Williams sparked the Rattlers with a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds as Juwan Green came on strong with 14 points, three rebounds and two assists.
 
Off the bench, Skylar Brooks posted a game-high 19 points with four rebounds and an assist, helping the Rattlers carve out a 23-13 edge in bench points.
 
On Saturday, the Rattlers face the tough task of hosting the UAFS Lions – a team that entered play on Thursday tied for first in the Heartland Conference Men's Basketball standings.
